Wii Virtual Console Progress

I did a multi-day writeup last Novemeber about my wishlist of games for the Wii Virtual Console. The Wii's been out for a goodly time now, releasing new games every Monday. Let's see how many of my wished-for games we've been blessed with:

Alien Crush
Sonic the Hedgehog
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Military Madness
Kid Icarus

Five. Though, to be fair, Super Metroid is slated for launch, as are Hogan's Alley, Super Mario RPG, Ocarina of Time and Uniracers. And Nintendo assures us that they're working like hell to get the details worked out to get GoldenEye on there.

That's actually pretty good. I wanted to make this post a rant, but I still haven't downloaded all the games I wanted so far (but I did get Gunstar Heroes and Old School Super Mario Brothers). I'm sure everyone would rather Nintendo would Long Tail us every game in the catalog, but having new games waiting for me every Monday is pretty neat too.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some Kid Icarus to play.
